Our experience in family law includes divorce petitions, petitions to modify divorce agreements and judgments, and drafting property settlement agreements. We also have been involved in pre-trial negotiations in attempt to settle and complete the difficult divorce arrange with without litigation.

There are number of ways to handle family litigation and it has always been our goal to minimize litigation costs and try to determine where the valid disagreements have arisen as opposed to the inevitable emotional trials and tribulations of the divorce process. In other words, we have always felt that a family law attorney’s job is not to pour gasoline on the typical divorce process which is already emotional and difficult for all parties.

Our job is to distill the situation down to where valid and rational disputes exist as in terms of dividing assets and to be a calming influence and counsel to the client. We also try to convince the other attorney, sometimes with success, sometimes without,to handle the situation in a similar manner..
